Detail

It was our first time organizing the event by inviting people from inside and outside of ISAK, and it was successfully done by amazing participants and all the people who supported us.

On the first day, we gathered at ISAK, and each participant did a presentation of their own project (Centre-Right). After that, few participants are selected by the voting, and the rest of the people joined on the team they are interested in (Centre-Left). As soon as teams are formed, they started working on their project. Many participants from different countries and backgrounds worked together to solve the problem existing in the society (Bottom-Left). In the afternoon, we welcomed two coaches as advisors for giving the advices to each project. After the coaching session, they started trying to solve the problem which occurred during the session time.

On the second day, they still kept working hard on their project and for the presentation. For the final pitch, we welcomed two judges and many guests. All the team did a great presentation in front of many people and showed them the work that they did in two days. Judges decided the ranking between each projects, and the event was successfully completed by everyone's support(Upper & Bottom-Right).

There were some key-takeaways such as

- There were differences in the English skills between the participants, and it affects a lot on their work.

- There were some participants who have never done presentation in their life, and it became a great opportunity for them to experiences one of the important skills that they need in the future.

the voices from participants

I was able to experience first-hand the difficulty of expressing myself in English and of coming up with services and products that meet demand. Also, the people at ISAK and the participants from outside were very kind and nice, and we shared values that we had never heard before.
